Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to All- Preliminary, Main and Single Level Examination)

There will be the penalty for wrong answers marked in the objective tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

It is important to note that Prelims is your gateway to the Mains paper. Once you have cleared this exam, you need to start your preparation for the Mains. It is not a tough nut to crack the Prelims exam and with thorough practice, ample revision and mock tests and good study material, you can reach the cut-off.

However, your competition is with lakhs of other candidates who are also appearing in this exam. So, time management is the key to crack this exam.
